Jessica is a 21-year-old Journalism student at Humber College. She wrote for the In Focus section of the Humber Et Cetera in the Fall of 2005 and also had an editorial published in the Spring of 2005. Planet Oz is Jessica’s first magazine. She also wrote an article for the Brampton Guardian in March 2006.
In 2004, Jessica was on Humber’s Dean’s List for the Media Foundation Program. She graduated from Central Peel Secondary School with honours in 2003 and received the Grade 12 Herff Jones Award for Yearbook.
Currently, she works for Humber College’s Professional Development as an Assistant Secretary and Animator. She does a lot of volunteering in her community with the Blinch Irish Dance Company and at charity events. Some of the events include the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada’s Brampton Spring Sprint, Lucas Holtom Carnival Day, Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and the National Service Dogs’ Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs.
