The gateway to our destiny isn’t found solely under the stars. Our chosen path holds much power over the future. Let us reflect on our life choices, for it is through these steps our life’s direction is revealed. Only by inner observation – and the gentle guidance of this mistress of the universe – can one ever hope to predict where our futures lie. I give you a guide to your actions, your hopes and your failures, a glimpse into the hearts of those to trust and those to beware. Here is a safe place to put your dreams and lay your hearts. So read on dear souls. It is time to look past our birth signs and peer down the road our inner compass has guided us toward.

Publisher – No one said you were in this job to be popular. The bottom line always rules, so drop the hammer and don’t bother trying to be everyone’s friend. With lucky Jupiter on your side prospects are bright, however the line-up ahead of you is long. You are feeling like just another hen in the henhouse but resist the temptation to join in with the collective cackling. Your people-peddling skills are extra sharp in September so put them to good use.

Art Director – This year you are as good as people keep telling you. They’ll keep feeding you praise if you keep producing. Learn to share some of that creative license though – holding on too tight to your baby can stifle the overall picture. Your 3-D vision of the world goes technicolour in August when a layout breakthrough puts you on the path to greatness.

Advertisers – Everyone knows who is really running this show, including you. Don’t let this go to your head – your phone may be ringing off the hook now but that could change in an instant. Forget the little people who help bring you your audience and you’ll find yourself performing in an empty theatre. Remember there is more value in a lasting relationship than a one-night stand.

Editor-in-chief – Be careful not to use your position as a personal platform of ideas. It is a delicate dance you play between holding young talent’s hands and motivating them. The gift of knowledge is yours – now spin it into something that won’t bore the cosmos to tears. But don’t dare write down to the crowd – to not credit their intelligence is both an insult and a costly mistake.

Writer – Stop your pacing, sit down, and get on with it. Over thinking every angle isn’t going to make the process any easier. You know what needs to be said but your single-minded superior might not be of the same mind. Best to heed her advice and keep your fragile ego intact. Remember for the upcoming months- if you’re just filling up space, get the hell out and go home.

Reader – Time to stop accepting whatever is fed to you. Over stimulation doesn’t necessarily lead to enlightenment. Take a step back and consider all your options – the choice is ultimately yours. Neptune’s wisdom is strong and will guide you to wield your newlydiscovered power for good. In the future, a valuable friend may be found online.

Managing Editor – If you thought your childcare duties were restricted to the home, you’re quickly changing your mind. Your need to manage the big picture may result in a spike in blood pressure if you’re not careful. You control the content but know better than anyone that at the end of the day it’s all about business. Try to relax. Chasing the chief’s job may come to fruition in July.

Intern - You are feeling invisible these days. Speak up! It is time to step out of the corner before you fade into the background completely. Delight will be had by all at first sight of your unflappable bravado. Deadlines met early, although seemingly impossible, can further your career. Try to look past your coffee-runner status and focus on a sparkling future. In May, you’ll take the blame yet again for another’s mistake – stand firm and hold your ground.
